I know that dogs have boundless energy and love exercise and play. Our days are built around keeping each of our VIP (Very Important Pets) happy and active. All our activities are personally tailored to our guests' temperament, rather you pet enjoys a game of Frisbee or would prefer a quiet walk, Peggy will ensure that there are unlimited cuddles, scratches and plays to provide all the 'home' attention that your pet likes so much.
The best time for arrivals are between 8am to 10am and 4pm to 5:30pm. If our times do not fit your needs you can schedule an appointment (48hours in advance) for an alternate drop off or pick up time. An additional out of hours charge may apply. These times will allow the dogs to unwind and adjust in playgroup before being confined for naptime. Your pet will be able to acclimate to their new environment, minimizing their stress. All drops offs and pickups will be by appointment only.

Yelp extensive review: Steamboat has very few places to leave your dog for the day, which is why I want to start off with the fact that my basic pet sitting needs were met by RK Pet Ranch.  The people that work there are great, the facility seemed nice, and they offer lots of different grooming packages you can get done during the day. They seem to tailor most of their schedule around dogs that are overnight boarders and dogs being groomed. 

If your dog is older, small, or lazy, chances are they would have a great time here. I, however, have a year old puppy.

RK Pet Ranch only allows certain hours to drop off and pick up your dog for day camp. I was expecting my puppy to be tired after her 'full day of camp', like she is after a day at the daycare I normally take her to in Denver.  She was not even slightly tired.  It seems like the dogs spend around six out of the ten hours that the Pet Ranch is open in their kennels  (two hours during the drop off period from 8-10am, two during the pick up period 4-6pm, and another two hour nap time during the day).  It seems like the 'full day' includes a large amount of napping.
